General Overview
Audrey J. McCarthy is an Associate with the Law Offices of Stuart P. Krauskopf, P.C. Audrey's practice is focused on various areas of civil litigation and civil practice, including insurance defense and counseling and advising clients on a daily basis.
Prior to joining Mr. Krauskopf's law practice, Audrey worked as an Associate at a medium-sized firm. As a member of the litigation department at that time, she worked on numerous complex litigation cases, insurance defense matters, business tort litigation-including international cases, which took her to foreign countries for depositions and hearings in international courts-and various employment related litigation matters. Audrey regularly appeared before administrative agencies, all divisions of Illinois State Court, and Federal District Court. Additionally, she has participated in several appellate matters including oral argument before the Seventh Circuit.
Audrey was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1999. She is a magna cum laude graduate from the Indiana University Law School-Bloomington and is a member of The Order of the Coif. Additionally, Audrey was Senior Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
