General Overview

Patrick Wall has been an Associate with The Law Offices of Stuart P. Krauskopf, P.C. since 2012.  He concentrates his practice in the defense of liability claims and corporate transactional matters.  He has defended national corporations, transportation companies, homeowners and landowners against claims ranging in severity and complexity from soft tissue injuries to catastrophic injuries.  Pat has represented individuals and corporations in matters through all phases of litigation including trying fourteen matters to verdict, including both bench and jury trials.

Pat works in the firm's Chicago office.  He has been an attorney since 2006. Pat is experienced in handling a wide array of complex litigation matters.  Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an associate at an insurance defense firm for five years, where he specialized in the defense of liability claims, both on behalf of individuals and corporations.  He has earned a reputation for communicating honestly with his clients about the true chances of success in his cases. As a result, Pat has gained the trust and confidence of his clients.

Pat is a determined, energetic and creative advocate on behalf of his clients.  He has achieved success in the courtroom, as well as achieving positive resolutions of matters through alternative dispute resolution.  He has tried fourteen cases to jury verdict, including three which resulted in no non-economic damages being awarded and two not-guilty verdicts.  He has also participated in more than 20 binding arbitrations.  Additionally, Pat has assisted with large-scale commercial litigation and research projects in the construction, commercial, real estate, employment, intellectual property and environmental practice areas.  He also has experience with foreclosure matters, enforcement of judgments and collections, and is experienced in the areas of fraud and general commercial litigation.

Pat brings a unique background to the firm.  Before joining The Law Offices of Stuart P. Krauskopf, he worked for two Fortune 500 companies, gaining significant management experience. he has also served as an extern at the White House and the United States of Representatives.

Pat is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, The Federalist Society, as well as the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators and the Defense Research Institute.

He graduated from Central Michigan University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in political science and communications and received his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, cum laude in 2006.

Publications

Pat has been published fourteen times in various newsletters on a wide range of legal situations, including attorneys' fees, The Dramshop  Act, emotional distress claims, as well as federal and municipal litigation. Copies of these publications are available upon request.
